ALL ABOUT ME
My name is Darrell Windjack and I am a self-taught artist who was raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Â Realism drawings are my preferred art form using mixed media of pencil, ink and occasionally a touch of acrylic paint. Â I was naturally inclined to sketching from a young age and always felt it would become an integral part of my life's journey. Â When creating a detailed image splashed with colour I find myself transported back to a childhood memory or that certain vantage point recalled from past travels. Â My hope is that the viewer takes away a similar feeling by associating that one piece of art with a long forgotten experience, if only for a brief moment.
